What Constitutes A Review ?
This is a good question and we feel that you deserve our perspective on this matter before reading the reviews that we provide links to. In the days since the internet first took hold as one of the major sources of information for amateur astronomers, many discussion groups dealing with equipment have emerged. We take pride in the fact that Denkmeier product users post so many favorable comments on their own about our systems. These positive comments are probably more accurately classified as "testimonials" rather than "reviews". We are very appreciative when customers decide to share their experiences about our products with others members of these user groups. Such a post is less formal and generally can be written and posted to a user forum without having to pass standards that may be required in other venues.

Formal Reviews
The reviews that can be accessed in this section represent careful comparisons by highly experienced amateur astronomers and they have been published by websites or in magazines with excellent reputations. All of the reviews were independently written without our input and there was no personal relationship between the reviewers and Denkmeier Optical, Inc. If we were emailed with questions during the review process and we answered questions that the reviewer may have had. In some cases, we had no idea that the review was being done. In fact, one review on our Power x Switch was just happened upon today (June 26, 2005) and it appears to have been published in April, 2005.

We Are A "No-Knock Zone"
As you will notice throughout our website, we do not compare our products directly with other competing brands. We conform to the same policy that other reputable companies have maintained on their websites. We do what we do as well as we possibly can so that our products will aquire a reputation for being of the highest quality by word of mouth among amateur astronomers. We expect that the prospective customer will decide which is best after compiling information from various independent sources rather than by having us bombard visitors to our website with such claims. The customer base that we supply our products to consists of a very intelligent group of astro-enthisiasts. Our goal is to tell enough about our product here, and then provide objective and independent reviews so that each visitor to our website comes away with a better understanding of what the issues are, and whether we deserve to be the supplier of their Binoviewer System.
