We Now Offer An Optical Accessory Designed To Allow The Denk Binoviewer To Operate With The Lunt 60TM Solar Scope
For the better part of a full Solar Cycle, we at Denkmeier Optical, Inc. have been coming up with innovative solutions that allow H-a Systems to reach focus with our Denk Binoviewers. The end results produce beautifully detailed views enjoyed while using both of your eyes! This helps the observer appreciate the amazing Sun, and also improves the versatility of the systems made by these various companies. That is our goal and we hope that this synergy between different manufactures will serve to benefit all of those who endeavor to explore the Sun in the H-a spectral region.
We are now pleased to introduce a Denk Binoviewer system that will operate with the Lunt 60 at three magnification ranges. Our Power x Switch Binoviewer System for the Lunt 60 will operate at 1.2X, 1.7X and 2.3X with a single pair of eyepieces. For example, if our D21 Eyepieces are used, the magnification factors will be the multiples above as compared with the magnification that a 21mm eyepiece would produce without the binoviewer in place (a 21mm Eyepiece used as single eyepiece).
The Shopping Cart Selection
If you already own a Denkmeier Binoviewer with a Power x Switch of any kind, order the Optical Adapter only ($199). This will allow your Denk to reach focus in he Lunt H-a scope and depending on the Power x Switch version that is on your current binoviewer, will allow several magnfications to be used with a pair of eyepieces. A 1.25" denk Binoviewer Nosepiece is also required so if you do not currently own one, indicate this in the comments box provided during the Shopping cCrt Checkout process and we will add the nosepiece to your order for an additional $24.
If you do not yet use a Denk Binoviewer, we offer either a Standard or Denk II Premium Version of our Binoviewer. The Standard Version is an awesome system and will be a great addition for those on a budget. The Preimum Denk II Version is simply the best that we can make!
Any Denk Super System will work with the Lunt ascopes by adding the new Denk Optical Adapter for Lunt solar Scopes.
NOTE: The Silver color Lock Rings shown in Manual Have Been Replaced With Heavy Duty Black O-Rings

The Standard or Denk II Super Systems
The Denk Power x Switching Binoviewer Systems that we have designed to operate with The Lunt Solar Scope 60 is available in both a Standard Version ($749) or our very best Premium Denk II Version ($1334). Call us if you plan to ONLY use the Lunt Solar scope with the Binoviewer and we can optimize the Power Switch specifically for that purpose rendering extra low power and placing the focus position of all three powers iwithin the travel range of the scope's focuser that is ideall for the Lunt scopes.
Current Denk Owners
For those who already own a Denk Binoviewer with Power x Switch, the optical accessory shown attached to the left scope-side of the diagonal may be purchased for $199 to allow your Denk Binoviewer to reach focus. The specific Power x Switch that you already have attached to your binoviewer will determine the magnfication factors. The Dual Arm Refractor or SCT Power x Switch will yield approximately 1.4X/2.3X3.3X factors. The Newtonian Power x Switch would yield 1.2X/1.8X2.3X factors. The Special Power Switch that we designed specifically to operate with the Lunt 60 yeilds 1.2X/1.7X/2.3X and is available as a Power x Switch add-on for $249.
Add The Optical Adapter And Power x Switch
There may be those who own a Big Easy System (no Power x Switch) or Denk Binoviewer Ala Carte (Again, no Power x Switch). You may add a Power x Switch to your order ($249) or add an Optical Nosepiece allowing 1.2X. Call for recommendations. If the Optical Adapter installed in the Lunt Diagonal is used without a Power Switch, 2.3X is the sole magnification produced. Likewise, using just a hollow nosepiece in the binoviewer will mean that only the Optical Adapter in the Lunt Diagonal is present and a factor of 2.3X will be the result. By adding a Power x Switch to your Denk Binoviewer, lower magnifications can be implemented.
