The revolutionary Binoviewer Power x Switch is a patent pending Denkmeier Optical innovation that has changed the way people all over the world use their telescopes. During previous years of visiting star parties and speaking with amateur astronomers, we found that one of the key objections that they had to using binoviewers was that multiple pairs of eyepieces would have to be purchased. The Power x Switch not only eliminates this problem but makes observing objects at multiple magnifications a wonderful experience. In short, you'll do it! Without having to worry about stepping off of a ladder and loading other eyepieces into your unit, just push in a Power x Switch Arm, quickly re-focus and there it is: The Dumbell's central star. When you want to see it from a wider persepective, move a Power x Switch Arm to the "OUT" position. It's that easy and absolutely encourages you to examine each object at several magnifications. Add one today. If you have an existing Standard or Denk II Binoviewer without the Power x Switch System, it's easy to order and installs quickly with no tools. Our Power x Switch innovation is sold for Denkmeier Binoviewers only. We take our patents seriously and appreciate the fact that other astronomy manufacturers have cooperated in respecting our right to invent and then provide our unique designs to the community. ClamShell Mount for Spectrum 60 New!

This fully machined Clamshell Mount will allow you to slide the Spectrum 60 tube assembly to a point where the entire upgraded PST will become balanced on your tripod. This mount has tripod sockets so that you phopt tripod can still be used but balance can now be "set" by moving the Spectrum 60 tube to an ideal position. The ClamShell Mount is also ready to recieve a Sol Searcher solar finder available from Tele Vue for an additional $29. Just note in the shopping cart under "Comments" that you want to add a Sol Searcher to this mount and we will add it to the order.

Note that we will begin production of this item only after 50 units have been ordered. Many of our Spectrum 60 customers have expressed an interest in both the aluminum case and the ClamShell Mount. When we feel that the response warrants production, we will proceed and may require a 50% deposit at that time.

Note: The 2" SCT Star*Sweeper is the cell used in the Cloudy Nights article featuring the Collins I3 image intensifying eyepiece. The price is $149 + Shipping.

All of our optical components are custom ground and coated by our engineers to the highest specifications. These components feature Multi-Coatings on every air to glass surface (FMC) and high precision surface accuracy. All optical elements are housed in our anodized engraved cells. They are available in 1.25" or 2" format. These Denkmeier Components are suitable for single eyepiece usage or with your Denkmeier Binoviewer Systems. All of our cells are threaded to recieve filters in their corresponding format. All Multipliers & Star*Sweepers include machined caps. Click on the image for more details!
